This is a stunning cabinet plate by Rudolstadt in the famous Capodimonte Style. The center is painted with a poly-chrome floral spray of roses and other various flowers, within gilt of gold floral sprays, scale and dotted scrolls, the rim molded with bacchanalian figure scenes. The cherubs flutter among the celebration of life. Deep relief add to the drama and festivities that have been painstakingly hand painted around the entire border of this antique delight. Measuring 9" across and in excellent condition, it is marked with the five prong crown over "N" mark in blue used until 1920.
