Vintage Mstera Palekh Lacquer Box - Russian Becha Spring Painting Red Black Wood. * Measures approx 4" x 3", about 1.75" tall.* Hinged lacquered wood box with a signed miniature painting titled Becha (Spring) at the top.* Marked Mstera on the bottom left and signed on the bottom right.* I've seen this style and size of box attributed to the 1940's-50's, but I do not know the age of this one.* In pre-owned condition. There are deep scuffs on some of the edges and corners of the box. There are also a few spots of paint loss, the largest of which is under the woman's right elbow. Please see pics.
